Best Champagne - $20+ Taste For Under $10

It says right on the label that this Champagne is not associated with Cristal, but the rumor persists. This brand of bubby is said to be made from the grapes that almost made the cut with the high end Champagne house, hense Cristal becomes Cristalino. Whether or not it's true, this Brut is regularly mistaken for much more expensive labels. Try a blind taste test and see for yourself!

Cristalino isn't always easy to find, but sells regularly for $6.99 to $7.99 and easily rivals Champagnes in the $20 range. Don't tell ANYBODY.

Here's a snap from a recent cupping (coffee tasting) at Beacon Coffee Roasters in Ventura, California. They're still working on their website so for now, you'll have to order over the phone, or stock up the next time you head north! This artisan coffee roaster is worth the effort if you're serious about your brew. Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their coffee, the owners John and Jen can talk coffee on your level. beaconcoffee.com
